Athlete Index Special Report: Street League Super Crown

On August 25, 2013, the world’s best skaters competed for the title of Street League Skateboarding Super Crown World Champ. We followed all the social media action around the event to see who came out on top of the social charts. Congrats to Chris Cole for taking home the Super Crown win. No doubt that’s what landed him at #1 on our New Followers category, pulling in 33.6K new social fans. As expected, PRod and Nyjah both had huge Overall numbers, battling for the top spot, but Nyjah pulled ahead for the win with 541K interactions. Props to the Super Crown athletes and to Street League for creating some great social hype to match up with their world class event.
