Had a good practice at Steel Wheels last night. Worked on carrying more speed through corners, manualing and trying some different lines around the track. We also worked with a couple of different gear combos on my 20". Had a hard down while manualing and pulled a muscle in my arm but I think it'll be OK for weekend races.

Had a good practice last night at Steel Wheels. Worked a lot on gates and carrying speed around corners. Ran a couple of under 40 second laps. Made a new friend and had fun with my sister and brother.

Not a big showing. Only 4 guys in class. Went out and won the first moto to transfer to the main. Come main time was feeling ok, but didn't get a great gate. I was 3rd into the first turn and looking for a spot to make a move, but the move never came. I came out of the last turn and sat down, taking my 3rd place. Not the usual showing from the #1 bike but, I'll be back in 2 weeks.
