Data Shows Soccer Properties Lead The Way In Followers Across Major Social Platforms

Attendees at the '17 CAA World Congress of Sports tomorrow morning will hear from three major stakeholders in the sport here --  MLS Commissioner Don Garber, U.S. Soccer President Sunil Gulati and CONCACAF President Victor Montagliani, who also serves as a FIFA VP. The session is timely, as according to data provided to THE DAILY by social media measurement firm Hookit, nine of the 10 most-popular sports properties on social media are related to soccer. Additionally, last year, six of the 10 sports properties that added the most new followers were in the soccer space. The data below includes followers across Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
