I started skiing when I was 2 years old. 3 years later my dad strapped a snowboard on my feet. I taught myself just by falling over and over again. I did a lot of free riding until I was 10 years old. This was the age I started competing at. At first I competed in Halfpipe, Slopestyle, and Boardercross. This year I stopped Boardercross to really focus on pipe and slope. At the end of the season I made it on the USASA Team. It was a great way to end the season.
I had 3 major peaks this year. My first one was at the Burton European Open in February while competing in the Junior Jam for Halfpipe. Also at USASA Nationals in April at Copper Mountain, CO while competing in Halfpipe. At the end of my season I went to Mammoth Mountain, California for Gold Camp. This was one of the best progression sessions of my life! I learned lots of different grabs with my spins. Even though I have had so many fun times this season these were some of my best days.
My goals for next year are to continue progressing, stay on the USASA Team and learn lots of flips and spins!
