SCORE (responsible for the organization of the BAJA 500) has been checking the IRC trackers from all the competitors, looking for possible cheaters, (course deviation, violation of highway speed and other rules), SCORE has been giving out penalizations to all the cheaters therefore the race results have changed, yesterday SCORE uploaded the results for Class 40, I just checked them, and I´m still amazed, thanks to the penalizations we moved up two spots, ending up in 1ST PLACE!!!!! Thanks to a clean race and becase we are not cheaters and like race honestly we got the 1st Place, that is great because it seems that we have got our reward for being an honest team. (we just got Highway speed penalization because it is very hard to maintan 60mph on a motorcycle; when you are on a highway the rule says you shall not be doing more than 60mph.

June 5th, 2009. The Contingency row and the tech inspection was held next to "Riviera del Pacifico Culturar Ctr." from 10am to 6pm. Thousands of people went there to see the vehicles, it was like a big party, music, cars, etc. I spent most of the day there, took many pictures and just had fun.
June 6th, 2009. The day of the race, I got up at 4:30am to prepare everything we needed for the day, and like at 5:30 we left home and went to the starting line, the team was already there (449x), minutes before the race started we went some meters further the starting line and watched all the motorcycles and ATV´s pass. The cars were going to start at 10:00am so we had plenty of time; we bought a t-shirt a cap and other souvenirs, then we decided to go to a restaurant near the starting line to have breakfast, it was just next to the starting line. Roger Norman´s team (Trophy Truck #8) was staying in the hotel (we went to the restaurant of that hotel) so after having breakfast we took a look of the trophy truck, they were checking the car. There we found Robbie Pierce´s trophy truck #35 too. After that we went to the starting line again to see all trophy trucks, class 1 and all the other cars that were about to start. We watched the TTs, Class 1, 10, SL, 8, PT, 1-2/1600, 5 and 6 starting and then we headed south to el Borrego Race Mile 210. The first car to pass was Robby Gordon´s TT #77, he was leading the race, very close to him was B.J. Baldwin, third was Roger Norman. After some hours we decided to left but when we were leaving we had a great idea, the course was just next to the highway so we would chase a car while it was on the run, we waited for some minutes and in the distance we saw a trophy truck coming, we chased the TT for about 15 miles, from Race Mile 210-225, we reached a top speed of 80mph!!! sometimes it was difficult to keep the pace of the TT!!! It was incredible, I recorded it you can watch the video on youtube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xkksiyIZvb4 Then we went to Race Mile 390+ just 43 miles from the finish line, Robby Gordon was still leading, B.J. Baldwin was second and Roger Norman third. We stayed there from 6pm to 9pm and then we went home after a long exciting day. Our team finished 3rd Place in Class 40 without any kind of problem it was a clean race. Overall winner in cars was Robby Gordon, and in motorcycles Kendall Norman.

Baja offers the best terrain for off-road racing in the world, thousands of people come every year to the Baja 500 and The Baja 1000; it has become a tradition here in Baja, people love to come here, to compete or just to watch the race. This June 4 to 7 The Baja 500 takes place in the beautiful port of Ensenada, Baja California, México. Over 275 teams from all over the world are going to take the challenge to beat the 430+ miles course, not everybody can finish this extremely hard course, Baja terrain is very challenging even for experienced drivers, it is unpredictable and hard, but also FUN. It is not a race, Baja is a way of living, it is in fans´ hearts, it is in pilots´ hearts, fathers take his kids to the race, and when those kids grow up they will take their kids too, just like I said, it is a tradition. To race in Baja you got to love Baja, this mythical land, full of stories to be told, stories to be written yet, every race is a trip to the unknown, to the beautiful terrains of Baja, great views everywhere; some people might say it is just a race, but they are totally wrong, it is far more than just a race; it is the feeling to be free, the feeling to be nothing compared to the greatness of nature, I cannot explain what racing in Baja feels like, you have to come here and race to understand my point. I´ve never missed a race since I was like 4 years old, Baja is part of my life, part of every racer, team, fan; I always wait for this time of the year, and when it´s over I almost cry. This is a land of legends, a land of great stories, and a land of mysteries to be discovered, THIS IS BAJA!

Airsoft is a very exciting sport. I love the adrenaline and excitement of playing it, It is all about team work and tactics, I love working with my team to eliminate the other team, team work is what makes us a great team. It is so much fun to play airsoft, it is also exciting, as I already said, and is also good exercise, you have to run carrying all that equipment and also you have to deal with the terrain. You can hear the bullets (BBs) passing by, enemies saying orders out loud, while you are trying to coordinate an attack, It is AWESOME.
