I graduated High School in 2015 and also attended Feather River Junior College my Senior year where I studied Agriculture and obtained my Emergency Medical Technician certification. On June 28, 2015, two weeks after X-Games I suffered a severe back injury while practicing leaving me unable to walk. After 12 hours of back surgery I was given a good prognosis that I could possibly walk again. I flew to Denver to start my rehabilitation at Craig Hospital. As of March, I am back on the bike racing and my first race back I took the OA at a D36 Cross County event. Felt great to be back on the bike again!
I have been racing now for 14 years. I have raced desert, GNCC, National Enduro's, motocross, Endurocross and even done a few trials events. I feel that every discipline helps the other. I won a few National Championships at a pretty young and decided to turn Pro (Off Road) after I won the 250A AMA Western Hare Scrambles Championship at 14. I could have stayed in the "A" class and won more, but I wanted to be challenged. The wins don't come as easy, but it just makes me that much more determined.
Qualifying for XGame's this year has only re-enforced my desire to better myself. I'm young and can't wait to make my mark on the sport with the continued support of my family and sponsors.
