My knee is jacked up on Mountain Dew! I have an appointment with the orthopedic surgeon next thursday. I will let you know what he has to say. I just hope I can race again. Good luck to everyone in 2010.

Wednesday. I have a completely torn ACL, missing cartlidge on my femur, and both the medial and lateral meniscus are torn. I will be having surgery and then 6 to 9 months of physical rehabilitation. I hope that I can completely recover and continue racing. I go to see my surgeon on March 18. We will see how bad things really are then. I will let you know how it turns out.

done tonight. I go back to my Dr. on Wednesday. Hopefully they can get me in for surgery soon and get my knee fixed and I can get back to riding. I want to try and race by the end of the year. I will let you know how that turns out.

rest my knee. I can walk a little bit. I will have to wait about another 4 weeks to get an MRI. Then I might get surgery on my leg. I just hope that I can get healthy enough to ride and maybe race this year. I don't like being hurt. I hope all is well for everyone out there.

the Dr. till next Thursday. I hate crutches and other than that I am OK. I love my wife, she is taking great care of me. I just wish that I could work on my quad. I can't wait to get back to riding. It will be a while though. Thanks to everyone for their support. Take it easy in the mean time.

tore my ACL yesterday during Marine Corps PT(Physical Training). I might just be out for the season. We will have to wait to see what the doctors say. Good luck in 2010.

I got my steering stem bearing. May get the front end done this weekend. My wife is still on disability and probably will have surgery on her neck, so keep her in your prayers. Family will always come first. I will race when I get a chance. Thanks for all your support.

together. I have to get some bearings and then I can put the suspension and steering back on. Then all that is left is new decals and number plates.

Christmas is around the corner! I think my wife got me some goodies!! I love Christmas!

Q&A - Personal

Why do you like this sport?

I like Cross Country racing because it is most like the riding that I did when I was young. Now I have a chance to compete in what I used to do for fun. It is the best of both worlds.

Why do you compete?

I like competition. It brings out the best and worst in all of us. I like nothing more that to push hard and win out over the competition. No matter what at the end of the day. I just like the drive and determination that it instills in me.

Describe your style...

I would say that my style is methodical. When I am racing and in everyday life I keep my head on a swivel. I try to stay mistake free. I believe that smooth is fast.

Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I am a Marine. I have to stay in shape. I try to work out 3 days a week. I don't get to ride as much as I would like, but I do my best to stay prepared for the competition.

Employment / Experience Summary

I have worked in a lot of fields. I worked in a machine shop in East Texas after High School. I went to college and earned an Associates in Industrial Instrumentation Technology. I worked for Honeywell as a Service Specialist in a paper mill in West Monroe, Louisiana. I am now a United States Marine and a F/A-18 engine mechanic. I do all my own mechanic work. I love to get my hands dirty. I guess I am a Jack of all trades and a Master of none.
