Background

I bought a 92 WR200 in 2008. just to go trail riding. Started meeting other riders, going to watch races, then eventually found myself on the starting line at an IXCR race in 2011, at 46 yrs old. First time ever competing. I am having a ball doing it.

Highlights

My first couple races were brutal. I underestimated what the courses were going to be. after burning up clutch plates, I started asking advice from pro riders an found I need adjustments in my riding technique With the help of fellow riders, I have learned so much in one season, My confidence has more than doubled since my first race.

Goals

To make a top ten finish in my class.
