As one of Canada's top privateer motorcycle roadracers Ross Millson's 2008 season began with a sixth place finish at the opening round of the Parts Canada Superbike Championship at Calabogie Motorsport Park in May. Carrying TSN's HD onboard camera, his personal best finish as a Pro was preceded by Millson making history. He was the first rider to pass under the Pirelli arch for the first ever SuperPole qualifying session. Millson went on to wrap up his 2008 season 9th overall in the Championship point standings.
In the 2007 Parts Canada Superbike Championship Ross Millson had a strong pro debut, finishing third in the Pro Rookie chase and 11th overall in Superbike final points standings. Ross was honored to carry the on board camera for TSN's coverage of Canada's premier Superbike series.
In the US-based SunTrust Moto-ST Endurance series, under the Go Big Racing banner, Millson and Team-mate Paul Glenn, finished on the Sport Twins (ST) podium in all but one of the six events in last year’s title chase. The team managed to take the title battle down to the last race at Daytona, finishing second overall in Sport Twins Championship. For this outstanding season-long effort, Millson and his team-mate were selected as a co-recipients of a Motorcycle Award of Excellence (MAX Award) in the category of International Competition.
