Downhill racing season is underway. So far my first two races have been interesting to say the least. A 6th at Sea Otter was tough after missing the podium by a second, 3 seconds off of third place. The Spring Thaw in Ashland, OR was next and a mistake on a section that was taped off after practice day cost me several seconds in my race run. It cost me enough to only get 13th. Next up is Weaverville Gravity Day with a Super D and DH on the same day. Then the 12 mile Super D at Mt. Ashland.
