My addiction to biking started at a few years back when I realized the potential of a bike. I noticed I could travel from one place to another rather quickly and did not need to have someone drive me there. I soon began to push the limits and bike long distances. I started on a $200 Trek Navigator 200 from 2003 and hit the 65 mile mark after a few months. Not to long after, I hit the 100 mile mark on my first group ride. I soon began to enjoy the sport more and joined my High School Race team.
I began in the sport of cycling solely fueled on enthusiasm. I began to work with my team coach at the start of 2013. I placed well in Men's C races at the New Hampshire International Speedway, I have quickly become a top 3 finisher in Men's B.
I am stepping up training in competition, gradually, to ensure a safe and successful racing career. Over the summer I am set to work with a "Level 1" cycling coach and plan to compete up until late August, with some rest time before the Cyclocross and Mountain Bike season. My goal is to show dedication and love for the sport, more than I already have, while improving fitness and results.
