I am a friendly and loving boy who always gives 100% in whatever I do. I was given my first dirt bike when I was barely two, and rode it with training wheels. My family and I only went to the desert 2 times until 2008 when my dad decided to take my brother and me to the track in Boulder City. At this time I was on my new KTM that I just got for Christmas as a recreational gift. Who would have thought that I would take to the track that well. My parents then took me to Sandy Valley where I impressed them even more. This started my motocross fascination. I love to play soccer as well, and am very good at it. I was playing club ball before motocross and have since changed my passion. I would love to be a motocross rider when I get older like Chad Reed. My family is very supportive of my brother and me riding motocross. My dad always makes sure I am able to practice at least three days a week and gets me to every race. My dad is at the start gates and my mom is always near turn 1. My mom and dad tells me they're proud of me every time I finish a race. I work on my bikes with my dad and help him change the oil and filters when we need to. I just this year helped my dad and did my first top end. My family made the move back to Riverside, Ca July of 2009. My practices have gone from 2 days a week to 4 and I am now able to get training by some great people. I know the move to California will only help me in my goals to winning a national championship race.
I am currently racing in the 7-11 85cc stock and mod and the open on my Kawasaki. I just recently moved up to the 85 because they fit me better. I love the new bikes. Unfortunately some injuries kept me from my goals of competing in nationals this year, but I'm healed now and ready to go. I just recently finished 13th place overall at the Dodge Amateur National in Sacramento 2012 (just got off an injury), and 5th and 6th overall in the Arizona Amateur Open stock and mod 85cc thru 11 classes. I finished 10th overall at the Freestone national in Texas andI finished 6 overall at the DelMar Spy invitational earlier this year. I am looking forward to Freestone this coming year on my 85 and to Oak Hill, World Minis, Mammoth, Ponca City, Loretta’s, and Dodge in 2014. Sky is the limit and no looking back.
My goals for next year is to finish on the podium at a national. I have no doubt this can be done with my hard work and dedication that I put into motocross. My parents have said that I have shown that I am ready for a big national and they will support me in my goal of a podium finish. We have decided as a family to do Oak Hill, Freestone, World Minis, Mammoth, Ponca City, Loretta's, Dodge and Amateur Open in 2014.
