As 2013 draws to a close, 2014 will be a brighter year in my racing career...it didn't get any lower than 2013!! With a year that was highlighted by mechanical issues, little nagging injuries, uncooperative weather and overall bad luck on the track, 2014 will be a welcome sight and a year to capitalize on opportunities. Alot happened in 2013 including high school and club soccer, obtaining a driver's license, new job and also racing. Last year was a blur for sure.
2014 has started already. After high school soccer, I have been establishing a workout regiment and with the start of club soccer have maintained my fitness and strength levels so transitioning into indoor season and the new season next year will be ready to take on the field in '14!! My Junior year in high school has kicked off and am still carrying the 4.0 perfect grades so far. Look forward to my Senior year, graduation and continuing my studies into the Engineering field in college. Right now my focus is grinding every ounce of myself into everything I do...especially in racing. I am entering the off season with an attitude and am out to prove myself that I belong at the front of the field at each and every event. No injuries, solid bike underneath me with some new found power and handling and a mindset of positive thinking, I can't wait to get back at the track. The bad luck is behind me...time to look forward to brighter skies!! My goals for 2014 is simple, to be in a position to win at every event I enter. Starting with having focus on the gate, being smooth throughout the race and charge as hard as I can for the entirety of each moto. This winter I will entering multiple races within Ohio and travelling to the Mid-East to attend some Thor Indoor Series events before looking forward to the outdoor season next year. Looking forward to 2014!!
In closing, I would like to thank the great sponsors and companies who have helped me throughout 2013. A special thanks goes out to my family and friends while either in the pits or cheering me through everyone turn on the track. Without all of you would not have the desire to compete in this great sport. To those who have already followed me into 2014, strap in and get ready for an awesome year coming up. You won't be disappointed!!
