I began racing motocross at age ten and by age 25 I purchased a 2008 Suzuki GSX-R 600 sport bike, then began riding track days with NESBA in 2010. Being moved from B class to A class in three days riding time a challenge not easily met by most riders, I caught the attention of a retired AMA Racer, Steve Grigg. He came to me and told me I should take this sport seriously and start racing. My first sport bike race was in May 2011 at Barber Motorsports park with WERA. I was gridded in the very last row of the third wave, and I still came out in the top ten in both my classes. I continued to place podium finishes and top 5 finishes for the remainder of my novice year. While at Barber Motorsports Park, Sept. 2011, there were several AMA riders there and I was curious to see what lap times they were running to compare them to my own at Barber. Most were running 1:30’s on factory team motorcycles and I was running 1:34’s on a stock bike with minor suspension upgrades. This gave me a great sense of accomplishment, desire and motivation to work even harder. I will have a long, promising career in this sport with great opportunities that await me with the right financial aid and support from sponsors. Please contact me for a full resume.
