I got my first bike in 1998, a CR80. I remember ripping up and down the ditches in South Dakota. I didn’t start racing until 2000, in the South Dakota State MX Series. In 2003 I moved to CA, the motocross mecca of the world. Unfortunately life got in the way and instead of riding a bunch I had to sell my bike. Then 2010 hit and I thought it would be a good idea to get back into the sport. Why? Its in my blood. If I could survive by doing nothing but dealing with motorcycles on a daily basis I would be a happy man. Whether it be riding them or even working on them. I raced again in 2010 and realized it was nothing like riding a bike, I wasn’t able to just pick it back up and roll again. After some hard work, some hard crashes and a small fortune later I feel like I’m finally now where I was back in 2001.
