Eurasia Motorsport is one of the region’s leading race teams, its personnel is responsible for over 35 championship wins in the region. 2010 GT Asia Champions and Formula BMW Pacific (now Formula JK) Driver and Team Champions, the team is a winner at the pinnacle of Asian Motorsport.
We are currently running in several series within Asia. These include Lamborghini Super Trofeo, Formula JK, Formula Pilota, GT Asia and the Malaysian Super Series (MSS). We also were one of the support races at the Malaysian Formula One with the MSS and once again will be one of the support races at this year’s Singapore Formula One with Formula JK.
Graduates of Eurasia Motorsport will be racing at the highest levels of the sport in 2012 once again, confirming the grounding received with Eurasia Motorsport that allows drivers to develop successful careers in the racing. We pride ourselves on giving our drivers the best possible start to their careers and they leave us equipped to move up the motorsport ladder. Daniel Ricciardo races in Formula One with Toro Rosso, David Zhu in F2, Marlon Stockinger in GP3, Richard Bradley in the All Japan F3 Championship, Kotaro Sakurai in GP3 and F3.
Eurasia Motorsport swept the board in the 2010 Formula BMW Pacific Series winning the Driver, Team and Rookie Championships and we were Team and Driver Formula Pilota Master Champions in 2011.
In 2010 the team entered, under the Craft Eurasia Racing banner, Ginetta G50Z GT3 cars in the GT Asia Series, winning the team championship. In 2011 the main GT focus was on Ford GT3 cars in the GT Asia Series. We have also finished in the top six in the past two Merdeka Millennium Endurance 12 Hour race held at the Sepang F1 Circuit.
We have started the 2012 season very strong with Podium finishes in both Lamborghini and Formula Jk. We also had, for the second race in a row, a great result in MSS with bringing home first and second in the team’s 2 Ginetta G50Z GT3 cars! The next round of Formula JK will be held at the historic Paul Ricard circuit in France, this will be the first time the series has gone to Europe.
