Background

I started off by my parents getting me a dirt bike. I didn't really have any hobbies as a kid, my parents saw that some of my friends had dirt bikes and decided to get me a ttr-125. I rode the wheels off that thing! unfortunately I have always been extremely tall for my age so i soon moved up to a 2004 crf250R. One day we decided to go watch a race and we met an ex-pro and current ridding coach (Jeff Pastana of Mxclinic.com). After my first clinic with him I was positive i wanted to start racing, and i haven't looked back since. Im blessed to have an amazing ridding coach and a fantastic family to back me up in my racing.

Highlights

I think that the biggest highlight of my short career so far is how fast i have progressed. I amaze myself at how far I have come and how fast I have done it. Im currently competitively racing against people that I used to look up to so much as the faster riders, now Im right there with them and even have people that ask me for tips and such! This year I was blessed with the opportunity to race the Dodge Amateur National that takes place in Sacramento. The whole event was amazing. Unfortunately I wasn't able to compete at the level I know I could have. I was so blown away with the event and the pressure and it all got to me. It was an incredibly learning experience and I came away with so much new knowledge of myself as a rider and racing at that intense of a level. I now know what to expect at a higher level and know that I am capable of much more in the future.

Goals

My goals fore next year are simple. 1. To race as much as I possible can and attend a few nationals such as Dodge and Mammoth. 2. To better keep my sponsors updated. This year I failed to update my Hook-it profile even one time or email a sponsor with updates. I know that this is unacceptable and I promise to do better in the future. and 3, to keep a batter GPA and do well in school, i know its irrelevant to racing but it is a personal goal if mine.
