The KX250 is finally done! We done a lot of work to it and it runs and looks awesome! I am so excited and can't wait to ride it. I am filling in at work this weekend, but they gave me Monday and Tuesday off so I am hitting the track all day, both days.

I have still been practicing as much as I can between work and kids. The Kawasaki is just about finished just need a couple more things and it will be ready to go, I cannot wait! I am really trying hard to get the bike finished so I can finally race. I am actually at work now, so I better get back to it. I signed up to work a couple of extra shifts so I can hurry up and buy the remaining parts we need to finish the KX250 and unfortuately the only extra shifts available were the overnight shifts. I hate working nights but, sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do I guess. I will update more again soon and hopefully next time I update I will have a finished bike and a race date. Gotta get back to work now. Until next time, everyone take care and God Bless!

Thanks :) I am so glad to hear that the surgeries are over and that everything went well and that you are out of rehab and you can start training again soon. I bet you are so stoked about getting back into those beautiful skies. I would so love to do what you do just one time, I can only imagine how free it feels and how breathtaking it is. Maybe I will get to one day. Everything is great, my KX250 is almost finished, and thats mainly what I am waiting for so I can start racing. We have been going through every inch of that bike replacing parts and rebuilding others so it will be like a new bike when its done. I am so ready, it seems like its taking forever to get it completly done not to mention every spare penny it has taken lol but its worth it. So how are you feeling?

Christy Ashley yeah, I am so glad that I can ride weekends now so I can get more practice with other people. Its really hard here for me to find anyone to ride with, theres no girls at all to ride with at all and all of the boys are so much faster than I am so I figure they probably dont really want to ride with me too much. Plus I only know like two people there and they are kids lol but its all good. Hopefully I will meet some people eventually that I can practice with and then I wont have to feel out of place so much. In the meantime I am still going to keep practicing so I can hurry up and race. This wekend Feb 4th I am going to Tulsa at the BOK Center they are having freestyle motocross for the first time so my husband got tickets for us for an early Valentines present. I am so excited! Yeah I will ask her cause she definately does do an awesome job. So how is everything going for you?

Man, I wish I was down there so you could have someone to ride with. Too bad, its so far away too or else I'd make a trip up there in the summer to come ride with you. Oh nice, thats awesome. Sounds like you guys will be having a great time. Everything is going good, I'm going to race my 2 smoke this weekend for the first time because my four stroke is getting the suspension done and I won't have it back in enough time, So I figured Id race the 2 smoke instead of sitting out when i have a bike that I can race.This weekend is the first race of the spring series, YAY. When does your season start again?

Christy Ashley That would be fun, maybe one of us will get rich one day and then we can meet up and ride, that would be awesome! :) yeah it was a blast, we had a real good time. it made me want to ride my bike tho lol. Thats cool, yeah I dont blame ya for not wanting to sit out on a race. I hope you have fun this weekend racing the 2 smoke. Best of luck to you :) The next series starts in April I belive but I am hoping to have the kawi finished so I can get in on the last 2 races of the winter series in March. We are so close to having it finished, going tomorrow to get the new wheels and tires and the top end rebuild kit. My husband saved it for last, I dont think hes really looking forward to doing it lol, but, he knows it has to be done. Good luck to you in your race this weekend :)

Ya i bet, every time I watch supercross on tv It makes me want to ride my bikes. Nice, I bet you can't wait to have it all done huh? Lol ya but it has to get done, at least you can say hes the mechanic lol. What all did you have to do to it?

Christy Ashley Yeah it sure would be nice. Thats exactly what I would be saying too lol. We play it every week, so maybe it will happen eventually, you never can tell :) Yeah I will so happy. Yeah lol he works on everything around here, cars, bikes, lawnmowers, hes a good mechanic. If he can't get something running then it's probably not going to run. I'm glad he knows how to do all that stuff though, it sure has saved us money. We had to replace rims, footpegs, brake and clutch lever, kickstart lever, shifter lever, front sprocket, fork seals, the back shock, its been a lot of stuff. The guy that had it rode it in the woods and just beat it up but its a really good bike, just needed a little tlc. Good news tho, we dont have to rebuild the top end after all, everything there is new. But we need a new crank seal, but no biggie, we'll get er done. It would have been done already but money has been the biggest slow up. Thank goodness for income tax refunds lol

My dad was a mechanic too, it always good to have mechanics around because they save you money. oh wow, thats a lot of stuff but at least everything will be new once your done so the bike will look new afterwards. Theres always a positive to everything, ya that does put a stop to things and ya I know. At least they are good for something.
