The 2013 season will be my eighth year of racing and I continue to love all aspects of the sport. I continue to be the top youth rider in Colorado AMA District 25 events and have posted some strong finishes at both regional and national events this past year as well. This season I will stay in the 85cc 12-15 yr and Supermini classes. I have put in a lot off time this past season on the Supermini and am looking forward to racing this class at the national level in 2013.
One of my biggest high lights from this past season was leading the 85cc mod class at the World Minis. I had the moto in the bag until the very last lap when I miss judged where a lapper was moving too and he took me out. I was so close to winning my first moto at a national event and want to have that feeling again!
Another highlight was the Ponca MX Championships in July. I ran good strong motos all week long. I was sitting in second place overall going into the third and final Supermini moto on Saturday. We were the very first moto of the day. I slid just a bit on the face of a jump and landed a bit sideways in a deep wet spot and went down and broke a bone in my hand. That would have been my first podium at a national.
I want to go back to the Red Bull Amateur National Championships again. I only qualified in one (85cc 12-14 Stk.) class for the 2012 national however we made the decision to go to Ponca MX Championship instead where I could get more classes in. The Ranch is the ultimate event and I really want to go back in the Supermini classes this year. In addition to all the regional qualifying events associated with Loretta’s we will hit a few other National events with the goal consistently being in the
