Do you train? What does your schedule look like?

I have actually been living abroad for the past 8 months. I'll be home soon and back on the bike, riding a minimum 4 days a week. I have been in the gym virtually every day while I have been gone, getting ready for my return. When I feel like my speed is back I will move up to B, and set my sights on the amateur nationals next year.

Why do you like this sport?

The feeling I get when I am on the bike is like nothing else. For that time, I forget about everything else. It's pure focus. Nothing else does that for me.

What do you want to be when you grow up?

I want to develop a multi purpose marketing agency. I want to do all work in house though, that includes print, film work, web, etc. From concept to finished product, in house.

How did you get started?

I got started riding on an old KX 80. It was always my dream to have a bike. When I was 12 I finally saved up enough allowance to help my dad pay for one. I mostly rode around the backyard for a few years while my family got through some tough times. Now I have 2 new bikes, new trailer, and am traveling around the Northeast in a new motorhome every weekend.

List your competitive highlights

I would say making it to the Regional for Lorettas on my first attempt was a pretty cool thing. I went to an area qulifier just for fun, and then realized I actually had a chance. I actually got the flu the night before the Northeast regional, and ended up crashing out while running top 5 in the first moto. I am really working hard to make sure that next year I have a better shot.

What are you planning for next season?

Next season is going to be mainly focussing on Lorettas. I will be riding indoors and down south all winter to try and get the edge on the competition. After Loretta's, I will move up to B and start the process all over again.
