When I first hopped onto a mountain bike there was a spark that couldn't be ignored. I entered my first Town Series race in 2009 and quickly knew that this sport would become a big part of me.
Over the past two years, I've placed top 5 in the Town Series race amongst several professional racers. I've competed in multiple 24 hour endurance races. I also recently attended a 3-day mountain bike skills training camp in Moab, UT.
I ride at least 4 times a week and feel I'm growing stronger and more confident with each ride. I have a very aggressive training and race schedule this season and am excited to show the industry what I'm capable of.
In 2010, I completed with a 4 man team in my first ever endurance mountain bike race at the 24 Hours of Moab in Moab, UT. We placed 16th out of 51 teams in our category.
In 2011, I competed in the female duo category of the 24 Hours in the Sage race in Gunnison, CO, and received first place.
Also in 2011, I competed as the only female duo team in the 24 Hours of Moab.
I'm registered again this racing season in the Vail Town Series. I'm also competing as a co-ed duo in three 24 hour races which include 24 Hours in the Sage, 24 Hours of Moab and 25 Hours of Frog Hollow. My individual endurance race goal is to break 100 miles in a single 24 hour race.
I also inspire this season to improve my downhill and freeride skills. I do not currently own a downhill bike, however I am looking to purchase one in the next few months.
