I began riding motocross when I was 9 years old and spent about 3 years learning how to ride and finally competing locally. In about 2009 I switched from the dirt to roadracing and spent a few years learning the sport and racing in the WERA organization. In late 2011, I turned 16 years old and my family formed a AMA Pro Racing team called ZAG Racing LLC for me to compete at the national level in Supersport. We have been racing all season long and doing very well for my first year. In 2013, we want to grow our team and add more notable brands to our efforts. I used to wear only Spy Optic goggles when I raced motocross and I thought it would be cool to at least be able to promote your line of sunglasses on our team. Here is a link to our 2013 sponsorship kit that tells you all about the team and I am also including my FB Fanpage link with nearly 3000 fans as well as a link to a promotional video that we shot earlier this year with our title sponsor Dynojet Research
Wow! Every day of my life has been a highlight! I get to ride motorcycles for a living! When I was 11 I won my first championship in motocross on a KX85. At 13 I won two novice championships in WERA in Superstock and Superbike LWT. At 14 I won another WERA Championship in LWT Superstock as an expert and a "B" Superbike championship at 15 running a Suzuki GSXR Superbike!
This year I am running a pair of Yamaha YZF-R6's in AMA Pro Racing Supersport and I am still working on that first highlight as I race against the best in the nation!
My personal goals are to go for the championship. This year has been a learning year and the team is brand new with all new equipment and people. We jumped into the deep end but with the help of the fabulous sponsors we already have on our team, we are getting our act together and collecting valuable data for a charge next year. 99% of the tracks we have raced this year I have never seen before showing up for the race weekend. We only get a 50 minute practice session before we must qualify!
