took first place. I was haulin' and having fun. First time at this track this year. It was really dry on the track and hard packed.
Moto 2. I was riding fast and for some reason I kept washing out. I think it was because the hard pack was so slick. So I ended up second this time.
The trophy they gave out was pretty nice... even for second place.

LLQ
This is the first time I have been at this track since last fall. Spent all day Friday at practice. A bit nervous about the LLQ. Mom and Dad call it the "Big Race Syndrome" They keep telling me to relax and just have fun. But I really want to qualify.
So to help me relax after practice we went to Joe's Crab Shack and I ate a huge steampot of crab legs, mussels and lobster. It was soooo good and I was stuffed. Then we went to see" How to Train a Dragon" I was a good movie. We all enjoyed it.
Race day- I was sooo stoked and the weather was perfect. My bike was fast and really hooking up. All was going well and I was even jumping the step up I had been leery about yesterday ,with no problem. But I fell on the first lap of the 2nd moto after washing out in a corner. Missed qualifying by one spot. But otherwise, we were all pleased with my ride. I had some fast competition too- Carter Halpain, Micheal Hicks, Lance Kobush and Mashburn. It

It seems weird to say that the track conditions were good today, bit I really felt like they were. Even with the fact that they were pretty slick and dry. Would not have hurt to have been watered. The weather was perfect for an early April race. I was really excited to get on the track. I was ready to race and my bikes were primo. But I think I must have been having an off day because I just couldn't stay off the ground. The track seemed really slick and I washed out during 3 of my 4 motos. But I still took home a first on the 65 and was still one of the only 65's racing against 85's and finished 7th.

today. The track and the weather were in perfect condition to ride. I couldn't wait for the week to go by so I could get out on the track. I placed first on the 65Jr and placed 3rd in mini one- I was the only 65 racing the 85's in that class and I went 2/3. No crashes. No falls.

Again, the track conditions were good in the morning then.... rain! Man, did it rain!!! The good thing was that it was unusually warm for this time of year. I won the 65 Jr class and took 2nd in Mini One. I had no falls or crashes of any kind. Pretty cool day. My bikes were awesome. Thanks Dad for being a great mechanic. Thanks Mom for being the ultimate pit master.
