Hey Everyone it's Hart again, and I had my birthay believe it or not and I'm a teenager. (13) Ye Haaa..
Another season is officially in the books, the 2009 season is over. Rain, rain and more rain plagued the start of this past 2009 season. But this didn’t dampen my spirits or Bushen racing’s spirits. Pardon the “pun”.... I race for Bushenracing.com and Greg at cycleworksracing.net builds the teams “best in the world race motors”. Our team “Bushenracing.com” had another fun season. When it boils right down to it, we have allot of fun, if it wasn’t fun we prolly would be playing at the pool or chasing butterflies or playing video games. But we race quads, it’s an extreme sport and it’s my passion along with everyone else on the team. A huge shout out to Kris Bushen and his family for everything from being there for me, coaching me, and working on my quads. Huge shout out to Greg at cycleworksracing.net for the awesome motors and letting me race his Honda 450. Also to my Dad, Mom and kid sis Haley. Without you all I prolly wouldn’t be racing today or at this level. I achieved my goals for the 2009 season. I won the championship in the Sport quad class and finished 2nd in the Open quad class. I was the youngest racer in the open quad class, at 12 years old. Open quad class has no limits on size of quad or age of racer. Well with one exception the organization had to vote to let me race against the adults, and guess what? Yep they let me race a 450 and boy did I have a blast. Then to top off my 2009 season the organization voted me as “Rider of the Year” I was so surprised and happy I could barley contain my excitement, well as excited as I get. So in closing I want to again thank these nice friends and family that I love, truly some fantastic folks your reading about. They spend time and $ so I can practice and race. Thank you team Bushen, Kris, Faith, Kyle, Paul, Tammy, Clint, Brady, Dad Dano-, Mom Michelle and lil sis Haley....Also Greg at cycleworksracing.net. I’m already looking forward to next season. Greg’s building me a national caliper motor to run some national races. My goals for 2010 are have fun, show good sportsmanship, be a good team member. Win the sport quad class, win the open quad class and have a top three finish in at least one national race. Thanks for reading about my 2009 season.
C U N 2010. Also thank you for supporting Quad Racing.
So I will ttyl, Hart #14 - #53 - #36.
Hi again, It's Hart and guess what I'm 12 years old now. The 2008 season is officially over and I had a fantastic time. Gulf Coast Quad Racing Association is a well run organization, very competitive and is a group of great, fun people. Racing for Bushen Racing is so much fun. Everyone supports one another and helps each other just like a team should do. I reached my goal for the season with winning the Championship in the youth class on my Honda 300EX. Huge thanks to Kris Bushen and his sons for totally rebuilding my quad for the 2008 season, it ran awesome. Although I did bust up my frame 1/2 way through the season and they were right on the deal and had me up and running by changing out the complete quad to another frame. Great work by the Bushen's. Also thanks to Greg cycleworksracing.net for the awesome motor work. Also can't forget my Dad for being there, taking me there, paying for everything. For next year Bushen Racing already has my bike ready for the Sport Quad class. Greg at cycleworksracing.net bumped up my motor from a 300cc to a 350cc, he pulled out all of his bag of tricks and well the motor runs and looks amazing. The 2009 season I'm racing two classes, sport quad class on my Honda 350, and also the open quad class on our Honda 450. So in closing.... thank you Bushen's, Greg, my Dad, and Mom and kid sis Haley for being there for me. My goals for the 2009 season is to win the sport quad class and finish top three in open quad class, be a good teammate, show good sportsmanship, and have fun. Thanks for reading about me, and so I ttyl - Hart #14 & #36.
Hi, it's Hart again. I'm 11 years old now. I had a blast this 2007 season. My Dad and I made every race. I raced with Team B.R.A.T. Bushen Racing Association of Texas. They helped me the whole season on my quads and supported me every race. Of course my Dad is there helping every step of the way also. The team camaraderie is awesome. I reached my goals for 2007 by finishing first place in the points championship in the supermini class, and finished 3rd in points in the youth class on my 300 EX. Team B.R.A.T. totally rebuilt my 300 EX, end to end, motor work by Greg at CWR. I'm gonna break it in this weekend in Waco, TX. at a team practice. I'm wound up tighter than a imitation Rolex watch, I can't hardly wait to see the team and get back on the track. My goals for next season of 2008 are have fun, be safe, be a good team member, and show good sportsmanship and finish number one in the youth class. Thanks for reading my story. Hart Walker #14
Hi, my name is Hart Walker I'm ten years old. DOB-8-14-96. My Dad named me after his Grandad the late great "Hart Walker". I like all sports but I love quad racing, it's our true passion. My Dad "Dan Walker" bought me my first quad when I was just turning four. It was a off brand two stroke 90. I loved riding on our land here in Bryan, TX. Two months after riding my first quad I blew the motor. We have been hooked ever since. My Dad always had a motorcycle, quad, three wheelers, go carts etc. We just loved riding and racing each other around our place. As I got a little older my Dad bought me little bigger quads until we were both racing each other on our 300 EX's. I was seven back then. I started beating my Dad and he would even cut the track sometimes! He was always a good sport though. That's when we decided to check out the quad racing organization's in Texas. We found S.T.Q.R.A. and attended a couple of races. Third time we went we loaded up my 300 EX and entered a race in 2004 in Highlands, TX. I loved it, my Dad and I had a blast and met some really nice people. I have been racing ever since. I race in the youth class and also race in the super-mini class on my 2003 Eton 90 two stroke. I try my hardest and try to get better with each race. We were fortunate enough to meet the Kris Bushen racing family. They have been great to us with advise, encouragement, support and mechanics on my quads. They invited my Dad and I to join Bushen Racing Association of Texas. "B.R.A.T." We are now proud members and part of there team and loving it. I am excited about the 2007 season, my goals are to have fun, be safe, show good sportsmanship, be a good team member, and finish in the top three in both classes.
