So, we finally have snow here! not as much/good/early as last year, but still good. I've already put on 200 miles! We haven't got any chances to ride to the high country yet, because of high avy danger - and broke down sleds (not mine, luckily!). Still early season, though...

Still waiting for snow - we haven't even had enough to get the Elans out yet. Right now I'm working on them, switching motors and so forth. The '72 Elan that is my "mod sled" gets a  bigger motor, and the other Elan (the stocker) gets the smaller motor.  They don't compare to new sleds, but they're sure fun around the ranch (when they're running).

As for dirtbiking, i've been missing out on the last of the riding oportunities due to a broken throttle cable. I'm getting a new throttle cable, so I can maybe get a few more miles in before snow!!

I finally got an uprade to my '82 XR, in the form of a used KTM MXC 200! Sure, it took most of my summer pay, but it's a screamer.
As for sleds, I've got my 600 put back together and in running shape. Thru the modifications i've done over the summer, It's dropped 35-40 lbs. off of stock, and improved the ergos. Can't wait to pound out some miles on it it this winter...
