I've been around racecars my whole life. I started out cleaning and learning how to turn wrenches on a family friends NHRA funnycar, then wound up getting involved in ARCA series stockcars. Throughout high school and up until 2010, I made my living in the various levels of NASCAR, building racecars and pitting them on raceday. It was an amazing time, but I always wanted something more. I went back to college in 2009 to learn to repair aircraft, and while in college started building myself an AutoX / Time Attack car. I started Autocrossing to shake it out, and before I knew it I was at the track every weekend. When I moved to the Carolina's after college, i continued, meeting up with some amazingly talented drivers and learning all I could about car control and setup.
Now, moving out to California, I build rocket engines for SpaceX for a living, and am rebuilding the car with a goal of competing in the Redline Time Attack Series.
-Building and competing fiercely in a car rarely seen in the classes I race in.
-Successful 2011 Rookie season, running with 3 different clubs in Pittsburgh, PA winning 1 event .
-Caught the eye of a handful of SCCA Solo National Champions due to car control and ability to adapt to changing surfaces and racing lines.
-Competed at the 2011, 2012 North Carolina Autocross Championships.
-2 Events wins in 2013 in South Carolina Region.
-Finished 3rd in points in North Carolina and 3rd in points in South Carolina despite missing the last 4 events of each season due to moving to California.
-Planning to run Redline Time Attack in 2015
Consistent podium placement, quicker times and higher levels of competition, more track day outings, and exposure for my sponsors.
