I began my racing career in off-road desert racing. I won the Motorcycle Racing Association of Northern Nevada women’s championship in 2003, and took that momentum to claim the title again in 2004.
While desert racing was tough and helped me become a stronger rider, the format of motocross really appealed to me. I began focusing on motocross racing in 2006. My dream was to become a pro motocross racer. I suffered several injuries over the following years which held me back from achieving my goal on the timeline I set for myself. In the fall of 2010 I was approved for my professional license.
I was hoping to race my first pro race in 2011 but was unable to financially support my racing. 2012 has come and gone the same way. Since I wasn't able to race, I've been focusing on higher education; I graduated with a B.A. in Economics in 2011 and I'm set to graduate with a Masters in Business Administration in 2013.
I'm currently preparing for the 2013 Outdoor Nationals and you will hopefully see me racing my first pro race at one of my favorite tracks: Hangtown!
