I first got into sport bikes when I joined the Air Force in 2002. I wanted a bike because I thought they were cool, and would get me chicks. In 2003, I got my first motorcycle. I quickly grew to love the sport and riding. My weekends became filled with weekend rides with buddies, or alone if no one wanted to ride. I began track days in 2008 after completing college. Prior to that, financially it wasn't possible. The track bug bit me at that point. I continued track days until the end of 2009 when I got my race license through Ed Bargy's school. In 2010 I was only able to compete in 2 rounds w/ WERA due to deployments. Of those 2 rounds, I started 20th at Talladega and finished 10th. At Barber I learned a valuable lesson when I crashed hard in practice. "To finish first, first you must finish."
In 2011, deployment again allowed me only a handful of events, starting at the back of grids and continually finishing top 10's.
For 2012, I worked w/ my military unit to be able to compete for the entire season. Thus far I have completed 5 of the 6 Southeast events w/ 4 more rounds to go. In C Superbike novice I have: 1-5th place, 4-2nd places and 1-1st place finish. In C Superstock I have: 1-3rd place, 4-2nd places and 1-1st place finish.
I’m continuing to grow as a rider, my name is now known in the paddock, and I want the top spot.

2012 is my highlight. Check the results. Racing against the two other top riders in my class with much more racing experience, I’m continually putting myself on the podium. If I make a mistake, I buckle down and claw my way back to the top. My progression as a road racer is really shining this year.

In 2012 I set the goal to be the SE and N FL regions champion with WERA. Thus far I am 2nd overall in both regions. It will come down to a great battle for the top spot in the remainder of the year.
Next year, 2013, I plan to advance to Expert level with WERA and continue to gain experience as a racer. Im planning on 2-3 AMA rounds in 2013 as well. Ive used your product since it was Oxstar, and theyve saved my ankles more than once. I love the fit, finish and protection. Thank you!
