2011 BMX SEASON (5 Intermediate)
Dane started out the 2011 season as an intermediate with plans to race no more than 1-2 local events a week.
In September 2011 without racing any pre-qualifiers, Dane won his 5 Intermediate class at the ABA California State Finals at the Orange Y.
After winning the state finals, Dane qualified and competed in the ABA Redline Cup Western Regional Championship Finals, winning his class and earning the coveted Redline Cup, #1 RLC number plate and championship jacket.
With these wins Dane was confident he could do well at the ABA Grand National Finals, so he headed to Tulsa, OK where he won every heat, quarter and semi qualifier, then the main event in his class. Dane ended his 2011 season in a very exclusive group of racers who had won their class on the state, regional and national level.
