I am 18 years old and have been kart racing since I was 5. There is nothing more I love other than racing. I have loved the sport since I can remember, I grew up with toy cars like hot wheels and such, but nothing compares to driving fast and winning races. My dad just bought a Modlite (November 2014) from a friend, Austin Kuehl, to race on dirt ovals. I hope to increase my skills and experience to become the professional driver I know I can be.
July 12, 2015 - Another 7th place finish last night. I'm trying to continue consistent top ten finishes and pushing toward the top five while keeping the car in good shape and staying out of trouble. Having a blast, nothing else I'd rather do than race hard and clean, and finish well.
June 7, 2015 - Wow! I managed to finish in 7TH PLACE last night, finally breaking into the top ten!! After dodging a few incidents (like a leaking shock and a loose control arm) and some crucial help from the sharp eyes of Chuck Kuehl, we kept the car together. On the track, I kept the car out of trouble, when I was almost collected in a rollover from the #14 car, Josh Rivera, who I was was running with. (Josh is ok, no dents. :)) A few too many yellows made the race a long one, but I prevailed and reached my goal of cracking into the top ten. Mom and Dad are extremely proud of, and impressed with my successes in my rookie year.
May 24, 2015 - Another 11th place finish. I'm still working on breaking into the top ten. I should've been there last night, but I didn't adjust to the track changes quickly enough. I'm looking forward to another chance tonight.
May 17, 2015 - Just competed with 29 Modlites last night. I placed 5th in my heat race, and raced a B Main. Finished 3rd in the B-main. Was running 9th in the A-main and gaining ground when another car spun in front of me, I had no where to go except sideways to minimize the damage. With a damaged car, I managed to pull off a
