I was first introduced to motocross at a very young age by my cousin who was a very fast Montana motocross pro who i would watch at the races. I had my first dirtbike (a JR50) at about age five. My mothers life changed directions and we began to move around a lot which didn't allow for extra money for motorcycles. At the age of 14 i got my first job, and by 15 I had bought my first bike (kx100) which eventually got stolen not too long after having it. I worked very hard again and bought another bike (kx250F) on my own and raced my first race at the age of 16 and have been racing since. My passion for the sport has grown more every day. I recently moved to Orlando, Florida and I am attending Motorcycle Mechanics Institute pursuing my dream of one day becoming a factory race team motocross mechanic. I haven't started racing out here yet but i have been riding about twice a week and i will begin racing here soon. I attend as many supercross events and outdoor nationals as possible, as well as local races. I have no doubt i will be in this sport for the rest of my life both on and off the bike.
I would say one of the biggest things to happen to me in this sport was a crash on August 25, 2009 where i overshot a finish line jump on the checkered and ended up having a T11-T12 compression fracture to my spine, as well as a broken scafoid bone in my left hand. I was eventually back on the bike and learning to ride all over again. In the third round last season I pulled my first holeshot and ended up finishing 3rd, the next week while practicing at Thunder Valley mx park I crashed and broke my left wrist which took me out for the rest of the season. I'm looking forward to racing the Florida series getting some wins and having fun.
Next year my goals are to be racing as much as possible and winning races, while still applying myself 100% at school.
