Background

I started my racing career in 2006 at the age of 13, racing in the Junior National Light Class. Prior to this I was hiring Go-karts at eastern creek which is where my passion for Go-kart racing originated. Me, my dad (Ray) and brother (Brad) bought our first racing kart in 2005, a Tonykart with an old ‘J’ Yamaha engine. This developed our racing team – Moss Racing.
I have always for as long as I can remember been passionate about cars and motorsport.
In karting I have the support of some great people – Engine builder Ken Mitchell, chassis and kart set up Guru Terry Ross and pit crews including Grant Gafa, Mitchell and Neville Scullion.
We then got our first race car in early 2010. This is a 2001 Ford Falcon AU with a Fox Performance race engine. My brother and I race it in the NSW Production Touring Cars and the Australian Saloon Car Series.
I am currently being mentored by a V8 Supercar Team, Triple F Racing. Dean Fiore (V8 Supercar driver), Paul Fiore (saloon car driver, Fujitsu Series driver) and Todd Fiore (Formula Ford Driver, Fujitsu Series driver) who run Triple F Racing, mentor me, so I can perform to be my best and achieve my goals.

Highlights

In my first year of racing (2006) I finished 2nd in my class (Junior National Light) in the Oran Park Championship which was an awesome achievement because I was up against kids that had been racing a lot longer than me.

In 2007 I got another second hand Junior Tonykart chassis and with that chassis I had managed to win most of the races held at Kembla Grange (WKRC) and Oran Park Raceway (SKRC) including a race that I went from position 14th to 1st within 9 laps and won by a couple of seconds.

2009 was my first year competing in the National AKA Titles at Townsville in the Junior National Light Class and out of 32 competitors I managed to finish in 12th which was also a good achievement considering I’d only been racing for 3 years.

In 2009 I was awarded the most prestigious award from the Wollongong Kart Racing Club which was the Ron Clark Memorial Trophy. This trophy is awarded every year to the junior that has improved the most. In 2009 I received a brand new Tonykart Psylo chassis and also received some track and kart information from Tonykart Australia.

I have also raced in the Pro Kart Series and I finished #1 in NSW and Australia and became the 2009 Senior National Light Champion.

In my very first race in 2010 in the saloon car I won the round on debut which was a great result as I had no previous race experience in a race car.

On debut in the Shannons Nationals 2011 at Wakefield Park, Goulburn in the Australian Saloon Cars Se
