Was at a race at ae forest for nationals... First run was good, but about half way down bottomed out and ripped my chain guide and chain ring to pieces... (It was a race face chain ring).... Bought a new Renthal 38tooth from a guy at the pits, fixed her up and boom ready for my second race run! Second run was pinned, and I did the exact same thing on my second run, 50/50ed a huge rock, but no, just a small scratch on my chain ring, not even bent and zero stress marks! unbelievable! So strong and light its disturbing! Never will I run any other chain ring but Renthal.
