When i first rode a supermoto in 2010, i figured out i got to own one of these. Nimble, light and yet not slow. In our area, we have many tight roads up in the hills and a small bike would be ideal. Worth a shot, lets give it a try ! ... So, i bought a 2007 DRZ 400-SM and i got hooked onto it. Did couple of trackdays at Sonoma Kart Track, attended Brok McAllister Dirt Camp schools and my riding significantly improved.
I would like to try supermoto racing in 2013 as it seems to be a LOT of fun at much lower cost than roadracing. Eventually, if i like it i would like to continue racing supermoto more often.
Progressively learnt how to ride a supermoto. Attended Brok McAllister and RichOliver dirt schools which helped me ride the bike even better. Can do controlled slides and be more comfortable with it. Basically, took it up as cross-training for my roadracing.
