I wanted to be a race car driver my whole life. I started out driving my go-kart everyday after school and on weekends. I practiced on my own track in the backard untill it was to dark to see. I entered this sport as a dwarf car racer late 2005. I gained alot of experiance in these years as a race car driver because of the power to weight ratio with such a small and hard tire. My son showed interest in the sport so i decided to get him a micro sprin tcar. After purchising his car i wanted to bump bars with him. I purchased my own micro sprint car and it was off to the races. My dwarf car has seen less races this year because racing with my kids is a blast and I get to meet alot of new people.
My highlights with the 600cc micro spints include a 2012 Dixon Speedway 600cc Multi Sprint Track Champion. A second place finish in my first event. It was a money race and i had no clue how to drive a car with a wing. I found out keep it floored and it sticks like glue! After that i have many heat race wins, a couple of trophy dash wins and several main event wins During this time several drivers have asked me to test and tune their cars during the race. I have been very successful in my sons advancement in the car as well as setup on others.
My highlights with the dwarf car include many heat race wins. countless top fives and a couple of main event wins. Out of five Nationals I entered, four of them i placed in the feature race including a third place.
My goals for next year is to continue being a track champion in a new class at a different track. I want to help grow the sport. i want to bring my class of cars to my former track.
