Winter Recon Tour Snowboard Slopestyle Contest from Park City, UT  - Day two of the Winter Recon Tour in Park City, UT on January 13, 2013 was the snowboard division. Cash and prizes were won from Monster Army, Hookit, Fuel, EVS, Mophie, Freestyle, Pro-Tec, Yea.Nice, Surface Sun Systems, Coal, Jib Brand, Electric, and Transworld Snowboarding. Recon Tour Points for the series work like this: 1st: 200, 2nd: 180... then down 20 for each position. Points for the final round are worth 1.5 - so 300 for 1st and so on...

Monster Army Sorry about the above information. Unfortunately we do not have enough time in the day to allow competitors to compete in more than one class. You will have to pick either your age group or open class? Sorry about the confusion.

Get signed at Winter Recon!  - Monster Army just announced, the Overall Open Class winner of all 3 stops will receive a 1 YEAR CONTRACT FROM Monster Army! Winner will be announced March 2nd at Mammoth Mountain!

WINTER RECON IS HERE  - With more than $50,000 in cash and prizes on the line, competing riders will have the opportunity to win big at every stop. Men and women competitors in the Open divisions will be paid out $7,000 when the three stop tour comes to an end. Monster Army is additionally putting up podium cash to anyone signed up for the Monster Army program prior the first event. $150/$100/$50 in prize money will be paid to 1st/2nd/3rd at each of the three events in select amateur divisions. Winter Recon Tour - Ski 1/13
The Recon Tour was started by Hookit and Monster Energy and is an intelligence gathering mission to find the best up and coming athletes in the nation. We work closely with key partners to support the future of action sports and provide a better platform for the athletes. You will be competing against your fellow peers in respective age and open categories.

We are providing you the athletes, the chance to show us your skills to be the most valuable piece of intel. Riders must compete in the age group based on the age they will be on the day of the first event (1/12/13). Riders who pre-register online compete in reverse order and receive a reduced rate. We will host raffles, giveaways and a vendor village during each event.
