I love the Boots. I used to always use Alpinestars till I tried a pair of Fastbacks based on a review in MXA. I will never go back. The best boots ever. Comfortable, Durable, & Quick break in time. I am in SG-12's now and love them.

I would NEVER wear another boot other than Gaerne. I had on a "different boot" and was in an accident. My leg was sucked in between my tire and boot. The boot I had on melted to my leg and caused 3rd degree burns that required skin grafts. This accident happened at High Point Raceway and Tim Coombs just happened to be right where I wrecked. He could not BELIEVE what he saw with this other "boot". I have worn Gaerne ever since and never worried about my calfs. I promote this boot extensively. I have a pair of the new 2011 SG-10's and they are by far the best boot I've ever worn. After having to spend months trying to break in my tech8's I gave up with Alpinestar's. Luckily when I got my SG-10's they broke in after a day of practice! I will never go back to alpinestar after having my SG-10's. Best boots I've ever had!

I've a lot of boots over the years, Full Bore, Fox, Axo, etc. My Gaerne SG10 boots have been the best I've ever worn. They're comfortable right out of the box, don't require a break in period and offer great protection. They also don't slide off the pegs when they shouldn't, but still come off the pegs when they should.
